Description of service

Solar Panda provides free, educational tools and content for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts in the Philippines who want to plan home solar systems, including solar and battery calculators, wiring and safety references, a hybrid inverter finder, mini-calculators, charts, a solar glossary, and blog articles. Some hybrid inverters are also available for direct sale (commissioning) fulfilled by Solar Panda, alongside affiliate links to third-party marketplaces such as Lazada and Shopee.

Calculators are estimates, not certified designs

All results from our calculators — including recommended hybrid inverter, battery, solar panel, wire, and breaker sizing — are educational estimates only. They are based on general formulas and typical assumptions, and are not a substitute for a certified electrical design, professional site assessment, or licensed electrician.

Electrical work carries real safety risks. You are solely responsible for verifying sizing and installation with a qualified professional before purchasing equipment or performing any electrical work. Solar Panda is not liable for property damage, injury, or loss arising from reliance on our calculators or content.

Affiliate links and commissioned sales

Solar Panda participates in affiliate programs with online marketplaces such as Lazada and Shopee. We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links at no extra cost to you. Product listings, prices, and availability on those marketplaces are controlled by the sellers and may change at any time.

For certain hybrid inverters marked as available for commissioning (direct sale), Solar Panda itself fulfills the order. Those transactions are subject to the pricing, delivery terms, and fulfillment details presented at the time of order, and are separate from any third-party marketplace's terms.

Intellectual property

The Solar Panda name, logo, calculators, articles, graphics, and other original content on this site are owned by Solar Panda or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share our content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of our calculators, articles, or data without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

Solar Panda is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solar Panda and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our site, calculators, or content, or from any products purchased through affiliate links or commissioned sales.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Solar Panda shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when we post changes. Continued use of Solar Panda after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
